Charlie, it’s no problem getting a revised buffer authorization. You just need to send two copies of a brief cover
letter explaining the change along with a revised sketch plan (the one you showed me with the red highlighting is
fine) to the Central Office. Reference DWR #15-0957 as well as the additional square footage of impact you’re
requesting in the cover letter. I hope this information helps.

To whom it may concern,
Please see the attached revised plot plan illustrating the deck encroaching into the buffer area. We
estimate the additional encroachment to be less than 50 sf feet and have taken every precaution
possible to preserve the buffer.
Per Cherri Smith, we shouldn't have any problems or issues getting approval for the revised buffer
authorization in the minor variance for which we have already been approved.
