Those projects appear to have been very well executed. If there's room in the floodplain to mimic that type of design then I don't see why NCDOT couldn't do the same in Div. 7. I'll wait on Nikki's response to your inquiry about the recent bridges, but I think it's worth a site visit. BTW, I visited Bridge 221 after our site visit this morning. You're right, has to be as nice looking a stream/floodplain complex as I've seen in Div. 7; particularly surprising since there is development in the watershed.
