Thanks for the PCN and attachments for the above referenced project. I read the information regarding threatened and
endangered species and need clarification.

Your proposed determination for dwarf wedgemussel, smooth coneflower, and michaux's sumac appears to be based on
a field scoping in February 2014. However, there is no information on whether habitat for these species is present or
not, or if USFWS had already weighed in on the project's effects on these species. Per usual, if habitat for any of these 3
species was present then surveys should have been completed during the appropriate time of year. Any additional
information you have would be helpful. Thanks.
