It is the over flow for a pond on the adjacent property. This feature does not show up on USGS map but does somewhat show up on the soils map but has been highly manipulated. There is really no good buffer to speak of other than a maintained lawn. The channel itself is very deep and highly incised with <1:1 ditch slopes. This feature is currently dry however it does have an OHWM and would probably rate above a 19 at times. Therefore I called it jurisdictional but not buffered. We are proposing to relocate and rebuild a 4’ base ditch with 2:1 slopes which will be more stable and functional. Any additional questions or need for a field visit let me know.
