In order to facilitate my review of the plan, please provide the following information:
Revised drainage area map for the proposed design ( I assume this is sheet 1 of 2 but you provided an
alternative analysis DA map too) as follows:
o Show final grading only, remove existing elevation contours to improve clarity
o Delineate drainage areas with color or other means to differentiate. Include built -upon area percentage
for each DA. This might be on there but the sheet has no notes indicating so. Also include flow direction
o Clarify what you mean by shallow flow vs channel flow.
o Increase font size of the contour elevations — they are nearly illegible.
- Drawings have references to ditches and outlet ditches. We permit swales (grassed or enhanced wetland type)
for low density project so this should be revised as well. Collection and outlet conveyances will need to meet
grassed swale design criteria for consideration.
- A low density supplement form is needed for your submittal.
- Grassed swales do require some maintenance and an operation and maintenance agreement will be required.
- Provide a pipe schedule summary with sizes, lengths, slope, etc.
- You may want to consider splitting the site into multiple drawings vs one sheet. Recommend scale no larger
than 1" = 100' for review purposes.
- Provide curb and gutter detail and locations of stormwater inlets and curb outlets/discharge points.
- You have a paver detail on sheet 2 of 4. Is there permeable pavement proposed for this project and where?

We have had some difficulties with the Town and other factors such as a FEMA CLOMR that would
have potentially changed this plan. We did not want your to review twice and so have delayed until
we have worked things out. Please find the link below to find the PDF files for the proposed
Stormwater Management plan. Boyd, please let me know how many hard copies you require and
where to send them. I plan to overnight the package to both of you so FEDEX address. I have the
address for Alan.
