The complaint came from staff working on a stream restoration project in Beaver Creek a couple of miles downstream of the 221 project. Staff working on that project observed a slug of sediment/turbidity moving downstream on Thursday morning/afternoon. I was out there Thurs afternoon to review sediment clean-up efforts on the 221 project with Erik and all looked ok, no turbidity in Beaver Creek at that time, but the 3-barrel box culvert appeared to contain a significant sediment load. I’m headed out there tomorrow to take another look. Dave W.
