Jefferson. Tim, you were out there recently, it’s the stream restoration. Beaver Creek coming into the project was extremely turbid. I tried to trace it upstream and although it got better, it was still slightly turbid at the storage facility at the intersection of Hwy 163 and 221. I didn’t see anything else going on but I didn’t have time to take every side road searching for any land disturbances. Tim, if you know of any projects out that way you may want to check them out. The guys on site said it had been getting worse all day and it wasn’t raining anywhere in the area. Dave, when I stopped at the storage facility and talked to the guy there he said muddy water comes out of the pipe coming down 221 “all the time”. In fact when I told him what I was doing he said “I know where it’s coming from” but then when I looked there was nothing coming out of that pipe. Maybe there was earlier in the day? Maybe you could reach out to DOT and ask that they double check everything out on 221. Beaver Creek is a trout stream and turbidity was definitely above state standards yesterday.
