Amy,
I have reviewed this project and these are some of the best level spreader designs I
have seen on the first go-around. The only comments I have are:
According to plan sheet 10 of 16, the filter strip downslope of level spreader 6
appears to have greater than 8 percent slope. Please relocate this level spreader to
a location with appropriate slopes or provide a properly designed BMP that removes 85
percent of TSS and 30 percent of Total Nitrogen and Total Phosphorous. If you choose
to provide a BMP, please submit the appropriate BMP Supplement Form with all required
items attached.
The plans should be the final construction drawings and these plans are labeled
"Preliminary - Not for Construction."
