Attached is the permit application for a pipe replacement project on Redwood Bend Road in Stokes County. No written
permit is required from DWR; however, we are required to notify DWR if a project is unable to bury the pipe due to
topography constraints. See explanation in the cover letter and the PCN.

We would like to proceed with the project as soon as possible. The need to repair the pipe was discovered during a
contract paving project, and that project is currently underway. Let me know if you have any questions.
