PROJECT INFORMATION County: Orange 17BP.7.R.85 Docuneent I Funding: I � State Yes n No Perneit Project Description: Replace Bridge No. 132 on SR 1500 (Allison Rd) over Branch in Orange County. Project length is approximately 012 miles. Proposed right-of-way is 50 feet from the centerline of the roadway with the existing righ[-of-way at 30 fee[. There will be an off-site detour rou[e of 3.8 miles. The project length and proposed ROW are exaggerated at this time. SUMMARY OT HISTORIC ARCHICTECTURE AND LANDSCAPES REVIEW Description of review activities, residts, and conclr�sions: Review of HPO quad maps, HPOweb GIS mapping, historic designations roster, and indexes was conducted on 7/27/13. Based on this review, there are no existing NR, SL, LD, DE, or SS properties in the Area of Potential Effects (APE). Built in 1957, Bridge No. 132 has not bcen cvaluated for listing to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) according to the NCDOT Historic Bridge Inventory, however, it appears to be a standard bridge design of no outstanding architectural or architectural significance. Orattge County GIS mapping and proper[y records revealed no properties over the age of fifty years old within the proj ect APE. 'Che APE lies north of the Cedar Grove community in Orange County near the Caswell Counry line and consists of mostly heavily wooded areas dotted with patches of farmland and residences lining the roadways. Thus, a survey is not required for this project.
