Bridge Rd Denver, NC.

Dear Sir/Madame:
This office has reviewed your Private Facilities permit application(s) and at this time we can authorize the
building of the structure(s) you requested within the Project Boundary of a Duke Energy lake The
construction of the facility must be completed as described to the approved application, and .within twelve
(12) months from the date of this letter of approval. Lake Services should be notified upon completion of
the structure(s) so that the Shoreline Management Program can be completed; a permit tag will be attached at
final inspection (if not one on an existing structure) Please post the enclosed notice(s) at the shoreline of the
site so that it will be visible from the lake.
The dock must be 50' outside of the Environmental area. The dock must not cross or extend within
10' of the projected side lot lines. The dock must not exceed 1/3rd the distance of the cove (minus 10').
NOTE: APPLICANTS MUST IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY DUKE AND STOP ALL WORK IF
HISTORICAL OR ARCHEOLOGICAL RESOURCES ARE DISCOVERED DURING THE
IMPLEMENTATION OFANAUTHORIZED PROJECT.
Please note: 1) This approval does not approve electrical service on dock or piers. Lot owners should
contact their county Buildings and Codes office for electrical service requirements and/or restrictions.
Some counties may restrict submersible pumps in the lakes. 2) New, expanded or rebuilt facilities or
mooring buoys must be situated or constructed in size, dimension, or design such that an average -size
(10 foot minimum) moored watercraft will not interfere with access to other facilities and not obstruct
ingress and egress of watercraft.
