Dear Sir:
As you are aware, the North Carolina Division of Water Quality issued a 401
Water Quality Certification (WQC) to the North Carolina Department of Transportation
(NCDOT) for the construction of the Greensboro Western Urban Loop from I-85 south of
Greensboro to south of 1-40 west of Greensboro. The purpose of this letter is to comply
with Condition 15 of the 401 WQC.
The referenced 401 WQC Condition 15 stated that the NCDOT must provide
100% design plans to the NCDWQ on a stream project, UT to Bear Creek within three
months of issuing the 401 WQC. The NCDOT is sending with this letter a completed set
of plans. The NCDOT believes it has met Condition 15 with the submittal of these
design plans.
