RE: STORMWATER DISCHARGE OUTFALL ANALYSIS AND LAB RESULTS
To Whom It May Concern—
During the month of November 2015, a grab sample was collected for the GKN
Driveline Roxboro Facility (General Permit NCG030000, Certificate of Coverage
N ' 3m`s9' cf lring a measureable storm event. Some of the grab samples
demonstrate exceedances in Zinc and Copper.
In order to improve our water discharge, we have completed continuous
improvement plans for our tray storage area. Unfortunately, we there are no
significant improvements to the Zinc and Copper discharge. We will continue to
monitor as required. Policy Deployment and Continuous Improvement Planning
is scheduled for January 2016. Additional plans for improvement will be added to
the 2016 schedule in order to reduce the amount of Zinc and Copper in the
stormwater runoff.
