reviewed with you proposals for regrading the parking area for Joyner Park to
achieve more diffuse flow to preclude the need for stormwater treatment. We

you reviewed this afternoon (alternate B in our earlier fax) without a stormwater
treatment device beyond filter strips. The reconfigured parking would more
closely follow the existing contours and would disburse stormwater as much as
possible along the edge of the parking lots. There would be no curb on the lower
side of the lot. The revised lot would be graded to flatten the slopes as much as
possible on the downstream side (4% grade desired on the filter strip receiving
the parking lot flow). If gabions are used, the Town will agree to maintain the.
gabions.
We will also use a level spreader to diffuse the stormwater from the amphitheater
area as we described in our earlier e-mail. The impervious area from the
amphitheater will be less than 24 0, so no treatment is proposed there either.
