Brian,
I’ve found all but 1 foot of the discrepancy in the mitigation values by HUC. There was one other stream (SBB-B) that
was mistakenly put in the Cape Fear that should have been in Yadkin 04. That accounts for 330 of the 331 feet
difference between your total and ours. I’m scratching my head about the dangling 1 foot. I’m going to ask the
consultant for the Excel spreadsheet so I can look at the raw numbers. Noticing on the total line, he has it totaling
31,991.66, but adding the whole numbers throughout its 31,993. So my guess is it’s a rounding issue. We just need to
figure out which of the HUCs most deserves the hanging decimal points.

I hate to drag this out, but I’m having problems getting the Yadkin 04 and Cape Fear 03 totals to line up with yours. We
have the same total impacts for the project, but there seems to be some differences between Yadkin 04 and Cape Fear
03. I’ve attached a spreadsheet with individual site impacts and totals for Yadkin 03, Yadkin 04 and Cape Fear 03. I’ve
gone site by site comparing the impacts to the permit impact tables in the application and to the excel spreadsheet the
consultant put together, but I keep coming up with different totals. Can you take a look at my spreadsheet and see if
you see anything out of line?

What I came up with was we needed to shift 960 lf from Cape Fear (03030003) to Yadkin (03040104). So the totals that
were requested are as follows

Cape Fear (03030003)=13,929 lf
Yadkin (03040103)= 11,650 lf
Yadkin (03040104)=6,413
