The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive five copies of the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following information and/or fee so that we may continue to review your project. ® Water Quality Certification #3689 states: "all proposed fill or modification of wetlands and/or waters, including streams and streambanks, under this General Certification requires application to, and written approval from the Division of Water Quality (the "Division"), regardless of the purpose of the restoration, enhancement, stabilization, or creation activity." "In accordance with North Carolina Statute Section 143-215.3D(e), written approval fora 401 Water Quality General Certification must include the appropriate fee." ® The fee for applications is $240 for projects impacting less than an acre of wetland and less than 150 linear feet of streams (whether intermittent or perennial). For projects impacting one or more acres of wetland or 150 or more feet of streams (whether intermittent or perennial) the fee is $570. Please remit $240 made payable to DWQ to initiate the review and approval process. ® DWQ requires five (5) complete application sets to begin the review process. Please submit four (4) more complete sets. This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, water or protected buffers.
