On February 20, 2008, the Express Review Program of the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received
your additional information requested for the above referenced project. The DWQ has determined that
your application will require more additional information. Please provide the following information so
that we may continue to review your project and prevent denial of your application as required by 15A
NCAC 2H .0506:
Additional Information Requested
Exterior Level Spreader (Receiving Flow In Excess of Bioretention Design Volume):
a. Please provide calculations for the flow used to design the level spreader. This is supposed to
be the flow in excess of the Bioretention treatment volume. Alternatively, as discussed during
our phone conversation on Friday, February 22, 2008, please provide design calculations,
revised Level Spreader Supplement and plan sheets for the newly proposed level spreader and
by-pass system.
Please respond within five (5) days of the date of this letter by sending two (2) copies of the above
information in writing. The Express Review Program is a process that requires all parties to participate in a
timely manner.
This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters
or protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not
authorized (at this time) by the DWQ.
