Comment: Currentiv the outlet and inlet sills of the box culvert at Site 8 are sliqhtiv above existinq water level of which
creates a waterfall effect. Sills are supposed to be below existinq water level. The inlet has developed a
scour hole. DOT hydrolics is assessinq and will determine a course of action. In the meantime, it was
aqreed that DOT will extend the flood plain bench at the outlet approximatelv five feet across the sill in an
effort to divert/narrow stream flow which in turn mav eliminate the waterfall effect at the outlet.
