Subject: Follow up letter requesting comment on our Duke Energy Conveyance Application to
Construct High Occiipancy Toll (HOT) Lanes over the FERC Project Boundary along
I-77 in Iredell County; (TIP # 1-4750AA).
To whom it may concern:
By letter dated April 8, 2016, the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) provided
your agency with a draft copy of our Conveyance Application for the four crossings of Duke Energy
hydroe(ectric project waters associated with the improvement of 26 miles of t-77 from 1-277
(Brookshire Freeway — Exit l l) in Mecklenburg County to NC 150 (Exit 36) in Iredell County and
along [-277 from I-77 eastward to North Brevard Street by implementing Nigh Occupancy Toll
(HOT) lanes. As of the date of this letter, we have not received comments from your agency on the
Conveyance Application.
Please provide any written comments you may have regarding the application within l5 days to:
