On February 11, 2008, the NC Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received one (1) set of the pemut application for the above
referenced project. An Individua1404 Permit will be required for this project. Please note that the following must be received prior to
issuance of a 401 Water Quality Certification:
1. Application fee: please note that the N.C. General Assembly approved an increase for application fees for all regulatory programs
administered by DWQ, effective July 1, 2007. The fee for applications is now $240 for projects impacting less than an acre of
wetland and less than 1501inear feet of streams (whether intermittent or perennial). For projects impacting one or more acres of
wetland or 1501inear feet of streams (whether intermittent or perennial), the fee is $570.
2. DWQ requires five (5) complete application sets to begin the review and approval process. Please submit°four (4) more sets.
Until the information requested in this letter is provided, I will request (by copy of this letter) that the Corps of Engineers place this
project on hold. Also, this project will be placed on hold for our processing due to incomplete inforration (15A NCAC 2H .0507(h)).
