To Whom it May Concern:
The enclosed DMRs (original and one copy) are being submitted for stormwater outfall
monitoring samples collected on February 9, 2015 as part of a permit monitoring requirement
at the City of Charlotte- Central Yard, Certificate of Coverage number NCG080822. The
reason for the late submittal is that data was just recently discovered by me during a review
of the site's Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. Mecklenburg County Stormwater staff
collect the samples on our behalf under a contract. They collected the samples and prepared
the DMR, but failed to communicate that the samples had been collected and the DMR was
ready to go. This is the first time this has happened since we've had permit coverage for this
site, and we've set up a communication system going forward to ensure that it does not
happen again.
Thank you,
Craig Miller
