You mention having a longitudinal cross-section of the natural channel. How much of the natural channel are you wanting this for? I have our surveyor coming to Benson next week on the 151h and was going to ask him to help get this information, but I need some idea of how much of the natural channel you requesting? Are you wanting it from the upstream tie-in to the proposed diversion channel to the where the diversion channel would tie in on the downstream end? And if so how much accuracy do you need? As you can imagine following the centerline of the natural channel can have many points with curvature ... so the question becomes can we take a survey point every "x" feet apart to avoid having such large number of survey points. Because the impact areas in this plan are slightly different than those approved by the individual water quality certification (WQC) issued on March 7, 2016, you will need to request a modification of the WQC. A new application is not necessary, but a permit review fee of $240 is required. Please provide a letter describing the modification along with the additional information items requested below regarding the final construction plans for the diversion channel required by condition #5 of the WQC. These items should include information such as the entry/exit elevation and slope of the diversion channel. Construction sequence and anticipated schedule for diversion channel Cross-section of natural, low -flow channel near its tie-in with diversion channel Longitudinal cross-section of diversion channel and a section of the natural channel for comparison. 4. Plan detail for new low -flow channel through wetland including equipment to be utilized for construction (i.e. wetland mats) and plan for stabilization (i.e. stream matting) 5. Cross-sections of diversion channel at up -stream and downstream tie-ins and its midpoint 6. Stabilization plan including details and specifications of stream substrate conservation, stream matting and temporary seeding 7. Planting plan including a list of plant species, plans for topsoil conservation, site preparation and anticipated planting schedule 0 We recommend containerized stock over bare root due to the high potential for erosion
