Per our NPDES Stormwater Permit NCG030063, GE Mebane collected the required benchmark samples
from our facility outfalls on December 17, 2015. The following documents are enclosed:
1. Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report
2 2nd Copy of Discharge Monitoring Report
3. Lab Results from Sampling (Meritech, Inc.)
In accordance with our NPDES Stormwater Permit, GE Mebane is notifying the Division of Water Quality
of benchmark value exceedances for zinc, copper, and TSS. Outfall 002, 003, and 004 had repeat
benchmark exceedances for zinc. Outfalls 002, 003, 004, and 006 had repeat benchmark exceedances
for copper. Outfalls 001 and 002 were both high for Total Suspended Solids (TSS). This was a heavy
and significant rainfall event.

Facilities that incorporate a solvent management plan into the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan may so certify, and the requirement for TTO monitoring
may be waived. The solvent management plan shall include a list of the total toxic organic compounds used and the other elements listed in the Generali
Permit. For those facilities electing to employ the TTO monitoring waiver, the discharger shall sign the following certification statement:
"Based upon my inquiry of the person or persons directly responsible for managing compliance with the permit monitoring requirement for total toxic organics!
(TTO), I certify that to the best of my knowledge and belief, no dumping of concentrated toxic organics into the stormwater or areas which are exposed to rainfall or
stormwater runoff has occurred since filing the last discharge monitoring report. I further certify that this facility is implementing the all the provisions of the
solvent management plan included in the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan."
