I’ve attached several items for your review before your field visits next week. I hope these help, I’ve sent you the following info:  R-2519A UT to Plum Branch Site 31 and Plum Branch Site 33: I’ve attached a PDF to show the stream relocation plan views with an aerial photo behind it. I’ve also sent you the as-built plans for these 2 sites. These sites are located beside one another at the US 19/Plum Branch road intersection. Below I’ve attached the link to the permit and permit application that contains the stream design plan (in lieu of the normal mitigation plan) which if you scroll through you’ll see what was proposed at these stream relocation sites. Also take note that these sites have NOT been planted yet. It was agreed in the field that DOT would begin stream stability monitoring in 2014 even though the reforestation will not be completed until this winter. The permits are all on-line on our website at: http://207.4.62.65/PDEA/PermIssued/ For the R-2519A Permit click here: R-2519A Individual, Yancey County, February 4, 2010.pdf For the R-2519A Permit Applications (contains the proposed stream plan beginning on pg. 231) click here: R- 2519B, Revised Individual, Yancey-Mitchell Counties, November 7, 2013.pdf  I-2304AA Yadkin River On-site: This site is located where the I-85 roadway fill used to be at the Yadkin River bridge crossing. The project involved removal of the bridges and associated fill and grading to the adjacent wetland elevation. The as-built has not yet been submitted for this site but the site has been constructed and planted. The design build contractor is responsible for completing the as-built and as far as I know they haven’t submitted anything yet. I’ve attached a PDF of the site map showing the restoration area (hatched in blue) along with the vegetation plot locations (in green). Once the as-built is complete we will submit it to you. Also see the link below for the permit and permit application. The permit app has the mitigation plan starting on page 4. For the I-2304AC Permit click here: I-2304AC Individual, Rowan-Davidson Counties, January 28, 2011.pdf For the I-2304AC Permit application click here: I-2304AC, Supplemental Information, Individual, Rowan County, September13, 2010.pdf I hope all of this info helps. If you need anything else let me know. Thanks, Jason From: Baker, Virginia Sent: Monday, August 18, 2014 1:27 PM 1 To: Elliott, Jason C Subject: DOT site boundaries/locations? Hi Jason, There are a couple of new mitigation sites I have had trouble finding site boundary/location information on. These are sites that I would like to see next week (time allowing) and was hoping I could get that information from you before then. Division 13 US 19 Streams – UT to Plum Creek Site 31 and Plum Branch Site 33 (R-2519A) in Madison/Yancey counties and Division 9 I-2304AA Yadkin River on-site (I2304AA) in Rowan County. I have been trying to find the permit conditions, plan sheets, and mitigation plan for each of the mitigation sites, although I have not always been successful especially with the plansheets. Much of this info is available in digital form in other cases it has been archived to a different building. Some of the scanned aerials and plansheets have been hard to decipher. Anyway I was not able to figure out the above location and boundary of the above sites so any assistance you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!
