In response to your questions and request for further information on this project: -~
The Sewerline Easement Crossing Project is considered a separate project from the Myrtle
Landing Residential Development because there are other landowners besides Biltmark Builders
that are dependent on the sewerline being installed. If for any reason the Myrtle Landing project is
delayed or not constructed, the sewerline would still be needed. For example, the large existing
subdivision on Faulkenbeny Road needs to hook-up to the new lift station being constructed as
part of the sewerline project, resulting in stream crossing numbers 3 & 4. Parcel R07900-006-000
will also need to tap into the sewerline, resulting in stream crossing number 2. The Myrtle Landing
sewerline connection is resulting in stream crossing number 1.
The sewerline easement is held by New Hanover County (Please see attached authorization letter
from the county). Biltmark Builders has agreed to secure permitting, and pay for the bulk of the
project since it is needed for the construction of their project. Also, it is not ahigh-priority project for
New Hanover County given the existing sewerline repairs the county is facing. Biltmark Builders
has the time and resources to construct the sewerline extension within a reasonable timeframe for
the benefit of all the affected landowners.
2. Please find attached the requested cross-sections showing the ditch crossings for the Sewerline
Easement Crossing project. If you have any other questions or need further information, please let
me know.

Army Corps of Engineer°s (USAGE), Wilmington Regulatory Field Office and the North Carolina
Department of Envirorunental and Natural Resources Division of Water Quality (NC DENR DWQ) to
enter and inspect the above-referenced project site as necessary. I understand that this site inspection will
result in determination of the jurisdictional stattrs of the property's wetlands/surface waters under the
USACElNC DWQ's Section 404/401 Regulatory Program.
