Subject: Duke Energy Lookout Shoals Hydro - Notification of April 24, 2016 Deviation from Minimum Continuous Flow
Good afternoon,
The Lookout Shoals Hydro Station experienced a minimum flow unit trip and generation outage early in the
morning of April 24, 2016,. The minimum continuous flow downstream was affected during an approximate
duration of four hours and 15 minutes. The event is described in the attached letter, which we will be filing
with the FERC today.
By copy of this letter, we are notifying you as required by our Catawba-Wateree (CW) FERC Project License
and the CW Comprehensive Relicensing Agreement, and inviting you to contact Duke Energy immediately if
you think further consultation is needed in this matter.
