RE: NCDOT BD-17BP.7.R.81, Bridge No. 40 on SR1116, Guilford County
Hickory Creek [Cape Fear Basin, CPF03, 17-8.5-(1), WS-IV*]
On January 2, 2014 I issued a stream determination letter for the above referenced
project. The letter incorrectly referenced the Jordan Buffer Rules. For all references to
the Jordan Buffer Rules, the correct citation should be the Randleman Buffer Rules,
15A NCAC 2B .0250.
In addition, the letter incorrectly stated that the stream feature listed as "sb" was
intermittent. Feature "sb" was determined to be a linear wetland depression during the
field visit, the January 2, 2014 letter was in error regarding Feature "sb".
