Amy,
We’ll look at it on Tues as planned and determine the next course of action. It appears that more manpower and
expertise are needed to ensure all measures are in place and functioning.

Here are pictures from our visit today, along with a report from Phil. We only visited site 10, Tabors pond, and permit
site 2. Our folks are doing a thorough walk through as required. We have lost sediment at site 10. Our folks will walk
the channel and let me know the extent of the loss. We definitely lost more than a 5 gallon bucket. The in channel
baffles remained intact, and caught some of the material.

The project received over an inch of rain in 30 minutes. Many of the basins were overtopping during the event. See
Phil’s report for comments on erosion control plan implementation. Prior to the rain, there were urgent and routine
items remaining that had not been completed to our satisfaction. The first picture below is a good representative of
what we’re dealing with. The inlet protection was stacked so tight that water went around the rock and blew out the
slope (pictures 1-4 below).
Pictures 5-10 are of the area around Tabor’s pond. I thought the lake on his side of the turbidity curtain was in pretty
good shape. As you can see in the pictures, the turbidity is being maintained behind the curtain. We did lose sediment
into site 6 (the wetland where the rip rap dissipater is in picture 6) and some turbid water on the upstream side of the
lake (last picture). The two tiered basin (pictures 5 and 7) were overtopping during the rain event. Phil made some
suggestions to take some of the flow away from these basins.
Our inspector will touch base with me when they’ve completed the walk through, so I can direct the cleanup. I’ll follow
up with you and let you know the extent of the losses. Right now, I know they’ll need to do cleanup at sites 6 and 10.
