The above project qualifies for Nationwide Permit 3 authorization. This permit authorizes the replacement
of an existing 55 ft by 29 ft structure with a 95 ft by 30 ft bridge over Chinkapin Swamp approximately 0.61 miles west of
the intersection of Buncombe Road and Glovers Cross Road near Colerain in Bertie County, North Carolina. Project will
impact 0.02 acres of wetlands and 105 linear feet of stream. If you have any questions, please contact me. Please see
the attached authorization and conditions for NWP #3. Corps Action ID # SAW-2014-00872.

Garcy and Tracey,
Please replace Sheet 2 of the Permit Drawings for this bridge replacement project with the attached document. The
new sheet depicts the jurisdictional stream that was not shown in the submitted drawings. Stream impacts from the
proposed culvert at that site are 105 linear feet. The diameter of the pipe has also been increased to 36" and the pipe
will be buried 12". Please contact me if you need any further information or documentation to accept the application
for permitting.

This project was permitted with CAMA GP 63535. This email requests that permit be modified to reflect the plan
revisions depicted in the attached document. Please contact me if you need any further information or documentation
for the permit modification.
