CAN MAKE A SQUARE AREA TO ZOOM IN ON. JUST RELEASE THE MOUSE
BUTTON WHEN THE SQUARE AREA REPRESENTS THE AREA YOU WANT TO
SEE BETTER.
AFTER YOU ZOOM IN AND SEE LAND/PROPERTY LINES YOU CAN USE THE

BUTTON TO SELECT A PIECE OF LAND AND FIND OUT CERTAIN TAX INFO ON
IT. THE SELECTED PARCEL WILL HI-CITE ON THE MAP AND A BAR WILL
APPEAR UNDER THE MAP. TO SEE THE TAX INFORMATION CLICK ON THE
PARCEL NUMBER THAT IS UNDERLINED. A SEPARATE SCREEN POPS UP
WITH TAX INFO AND THAT SCREEN CAN BE DELETED OR MOVED SO YOU
CAN STILL SEE THE MAP SCREEN UNDERNEATH.

Find -Opens new window used to enter data. This
°string" will be compared with data in the tax table. The
table fields are PIN, Parcel Number, Owner, Second
~ Owner, Address, and Subdivision. All of these fields are

Search Tips
i Identify -Displays data in a new window regarding the

Layers
On the left is the °Table of Contents" showing the
available layers. Each layer is made visible by clicking in
the appropriate check-box. Some layers are "scale
dependent.° They will only be available when the map is

The layers "Orthos (100 scale)" and "Orthos (400 scale)"
are aerial photography. The 100~scale photos are higher
resolution and only available in developed areas. If the '
100-scale photo is not available, the area should be
covered by a 400-scale photo.
Searching on a PIN or Parcel number will return only the matching record (f the
entire number is entered). Searching with the word "john" will return all records
with those letters in that order (John, Johnson, Johnsly Lane, Johnsburg
Subdivision, Dejohn, etc.).
Less criteria seems to return results faster albeit a greater quantity. For
example, searching for the name "Jones" will be faster than "Jones, Walter B" but
you'll need to look through the records returned to find the one you seek.
Owner's names are listed last name, comma, space, first name.
Street types are abbreviated as follows:
Avenue AVE Highway HWY
Boulevard BLVD Lane LN
Circle CIR Road RD
Court CT Street ST
Drive DR Trail TRL
