Box 2191 Surf City, NC 28445 Subject Property: Lexington Plantation Reedys Swamp [030614, 18-23-29-2, C] Rice Patch Branch [030614, 18-23-29-3, C] REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION Dear Mr. Pierce: On November 2, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated September 28, 2007, to fill or otherwise impact 1.396 acres of 404/wetland (0.835 acres permanent impact and 0.561 acres temporary impact) and 6061inear feet stream impact (446 linear feet permanent impact, and 160 linear feet temporary impact), to construct the proposed residential subdivision. On October 10, 2007, October 19, 2007, November 19, 2007, November 29, 2007, and January 9, DWQ received additional information from you, however, the DWQ has determined that your application remains incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive five copies of the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project. Additional Information Requested: On January 16, 2008, the DWQ received correspondence from Ronnie Smith with the USACE requesting additional information from you. Inasmuch as submittal of this information may likely change the magnitude and locations of proposed onsite impacts, we are placing your project "On Hold" until the concerns of the USACE are addressed and this information is received in the Central Office of the DWQ. Please submit this information within 30 calendar days of the date of this letter. If we do not receive this requested information within 30 calendar days of the date of this letter, your project will be withdrawn and you will need to reapply with a new application and a new fee.
