You have our approval to proceed with the proposed project for the purpose of residential development as
described in your application dated January 10, 2008. After reviewing your application, we have decided this
project is for upland development with no impacts to streams or wetlands and written authorization of a General
Water Quality Certification is not required. Water Quality Certifications may viewed on our website at
http://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/ncwetlands. Please be advised that your proposed project is located within the 50 foot
protected Tar-Pamlico Riparian Buffer and any disturbance or placement of impervious surface will require
written buffer authorization from this Office.
This approval is only valid for the purpose and design that you described in your application. If you change your
project, you must notify us and you may be required to send us a new application. If the property is sold, the
new owner must be given a copy of this approval letter and is thereby responsible for complying with all
conditions.
This letter completes the review of the Division of Water Quality under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act.
Please note that this letter does not approve any activity within the Tar-Pamlico buffers, Waters of the United
