On July 31, 2015, the City of Charlotte requested that this permit be made inactive. NCDENR
approved the request. Recent construction activities require that dewatering activities resume and the
City of Charlotte wishes to reactivate the permit. Dewatering activities are expected to resume prior to
the end of 2015.
The City of Charlotte understands that the existence of a valid NPDES permit (NC0089371)
constitutes an approval to discharge and no other approval from the Division is required unless the
wastewater to be discharged is greater in volume, contains new sources of waste, or is treated in a
different manner than described in the permit.
