Buffer impacts should be unchecked. Also on the comment for section 2h should read... Although the soils are mapped as hydric at Site 1 and at Site 5, no wetlands exist within the project limits. Both of these errors/corrections were due to left over bits of information from an old PCN I was using. They should have been caught during proof reading for the new PCN. I apologize for the confusion. I've attached a revised PCN. C. Proposed Impacts Inventory 1. Impacts Summary 1 a. Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used: At Site 1: The existing 34ft long pipe will be replaced with a 68ft pipe on a skew to best fit the stream. A channel change will be required on the inlet and the outlet end. For long term stability the stream in the ditch on the inlet end will be armored with rip rap underlined with geotextile. Rip rap will be installed underlined with geotextile for long term stability surrounding the mouths of the new pipe ends. At Site 2: The existing 27ft pipe will be replaced with a 52ft pipe. Rip rap will be installed underlined with geotextile for long term stability surrounding the mouths of the new pipe ends. At Site 3: The existing 30ft pipe will be replaced with a 52ft pipe. Rip rap will be installed underlined with geotextile for long term stability surrounding the mouths of the new pipe ends. Additionally here some rip rap in the flow line may be needed to repair any bed scour on the outlet and to provide stability between the farm path pipe and the roadway pipe. This entire opening on the inlet is shown as fill in case it is decided that a junction box is needed here. The NCDOT will also dewater each work zones as needed during construction. The replacement pipe sizes will be based on Hydraulic recommendations and maintenance inventory. Equipment may include an excavator, a backhoe, a bulldozer, and grader.
