(NCDE) is requesting modification to Jake's Ridge 401 Water Quality Certification DWR # 15-0574. Approved impacts currently include 0.019 acres of permanent wetland impact and 28.5 linear feet of permanent stream impact. These approved impacts currently reside on the northern side of E Industry Drive in Oxford, NC. As per NCDOT, E. Industry Drive will now be widened causing an additional permanent wetland and stream impact on the southern side of the road. Impacted wetland areas include 429.51 square feet (0.01 acres) of wetlands residing in a roadside ditch. In addition, the existing 42" RCP road crossing will be extended with a headwall resulting in an additional permanent stream impact of 20.0 linear feet to Fishing Creek Tributary, an intermittent stream. Wetland and stream determination was conducted by Soil & Environmental Consultants, PA (see attached).
