The bridge is being replaced with a single barral Aluminum Box Culert (ABC). The single barrel provides the sarne width as the existing br+dge and spans the low flow channel without reducing the stream width. Tha proposed culvert provides more effective hyclraulio opening than the existing bridge and will be replaoed in-place. The culert will be buried to maintain stream bedform and there will be no excavation in non-permitted jurisdictional areas. Promotion of sheet flow and infiltration over riplrap bank stabilization or grassed su►faoes is proposed. 1 b. 5pecifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through constructian techniques. Best Management Practices for Protection of SurFace Waters and for Bridge Demolition and Remaval will be implemented during the oonstruction phase. The site will be dewatered and pumped inko an appropriate stilling basin or special stilling 6asin(s) for installaGon of the Aluminum Box Culert.
