The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetland, streams and/or buffers on the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and 2B .0233(8) and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. This Office request that avoidance and minimization of bottom impacts to public trust waters and SAV habitat be demonstrated in application. 3. It is requested that aerial photographs be provided to demonstrate the shoreline erosion rate and justify the request to move bulkhead 15-25 feet water wards into sound. 4. Justification of 100-foot by 8-foot riprap groin. This Office request data for current velocity at intervals near shore, 50-foot water wards, and 100-foot water wards, prevailing wind data, wave amplitude data, and shore line erosion rate data. It is also requested that it is demonstrated how proposed rock groin will affect neighboring shoreline properties.
