Attached is a copy of the 401 Water Quality Certification for the Novo Nordisk Bright Sky Project & Gordon
Access Road. A paper copy follows via US Mail.
Please note that you do not yet have an Individual Isolated Wetland Permit for the project. This individual
permit requires a public notice, which was issued today, for a 30 -day comment period that was inadvertently
overlooked during the 404/401 permitting process. You must avoid impacts to isolated wetland WG until this
individual permit is issued. We apologize for this oversight. Our project review is complete. We have issued
the 401 WQC separately from the isolated wetland permit to allow the US Army Corps of Engineers to complete
their processing of the Section 404 Individual Permit and construction to proceed upon its issuance in all areas
except isolated wetland WG. We anticipate issuing the isolated wetland permit immediately upon completion
of the comment period on April 5th.
