Fayetteville Cumberland Road Dollar General Storm Water Narrative
Currently developed with single family residential homes, the site is to be utilized as a
new retail store with the associated parking area. In its current condition the site drains
generally from the north to the south.
Storm water will be collected within the property via paved and grassed swales and
storm drainage which will convey the runoff into the proposed infiltration basin. There
is a forebay in the basin that will serve as the pretreatment. The basin will infiltrate the
1 yr 24 hr storm event within the 72 hour time period as required by manual. The
infiltration basin has been designed in accordance with the latest NCDEQ MDC
Stormwater Design Manual.
