The purpose of the project is to convert the 2013 Dry Pond into a Wet Pond to meet NCDEQ's requirements for stormwater control. Wet Pond Routing The wet pond is designed to store and detend the 1, 2, and 10 year storms while being able to store the 25, 50, and 100 year storms. The 1, 2, 10, 25, 50, and 100 year routing from the wet pond is respectively, 7.04 cfs, 10.32 cfs, 16.19 cfs, 16.95 cfs, 17.48 cfs, and 17.96 cfs. The 1, 2, 10, 25, 50, and 100 year staging from the wet pond is respectively, 815.25 ft, 815.33 ft, 815.56 ft, 815.79 ft, 816.01 ft, and 816.24 ft. The bottom of pond is 811.00, the bottom of littoral shelf is 814.00, top of littoral shelf is 815.00, and top of pond at 817.50,providing a freeboard of 1.26'. The wet pond's outlet structure is a 4'x4' structure with a 18" RCP outlet pipe and a 4" orifice at elev. 814.00. Special Design Criteria - The final surface used is a combination of 2013 Existing conditions survey, 2013 proposed grading, and 2016 Dry Pond as-built survey. - 2013 Pre-Drainage conditions are used; 2013 Pre & Post Drainage plans sealed by David F. Reese has been provided for reference. - 2013 Post-DA conditions are still accurate with 2024 field visit. 4
