Good morning,

This email is acknowledgment that your Fast Track Sewer Extension permit application (FTA),
Mountain View, has been received by the Asheville Regional Office on November 14, 2024. A
technical review was conducted, and additional information is required to complete the
review. Per Session Law 2024-49 Senate Bill 166 (Section 4.3), the technical review period (45
days) is paused until we receive the additional information requested. Additional information
must be received within 30 days, or the application will be returned to the applicant, however
the fee will not be returned . Please review items that are missing or need
correction/verification from the permit application below.

VI.6 Indicates a flow reduction was approved; however, it appears division
flow rates per 02T.0114 and S.L. 2023-137 were used under VI.7. Please verify if this
was marked in error.

VIII.4 Please provide the operational point for each pump in the duplex pump
station

VIII.5 The cover letter indicates there is approximately 1,052 linear feet of 2”
FM; however, a total of 1,525 linear feet is referenced in VIII.5. Please
delineate and verify the linear feet of HDPE force main used for the horizontal
bore and the linear feet of PVC for the remainder of the force main in the
table.

VIII.6 The cover letter indicates the pump station will be connected to a
permanent facility generator with automatic transfer switch; however,
“portable pumping unit…” is selected under VIII.6. Please clarify the type of
power reliability. If a portable pumping unit is utilized, please provide the
additional information required for this type of power reliability.

copy of the requested items to complete the review. You will be notified via email once the
