The following applies: MSD's FY22/23 10-vr CIP includes a Droiect to redesign and construct a new Weaverville pumping system. In FY 20/21, the 2011 Weaverville Pumping System study was updated with new flow projections and project recommendations. The plan will include replacing Weaverville #1 with a larger station to accommodate flows through 2070. The existing force main will be enlarged and will convey flow from Weaverville #1 directly to the treatment facility. Weaverville #2 will be converted to a smaller residential pump station. Design is complete on the new system, and construction began Summer 2024. with the new Therefore: to be in service by Summer 2026. Given reasonably expected conditions and planning information, there is sufficient justification to allow this flow to be permitted, without a significant likelihood of over -allocating capacity in the system infrastructure. I understand that this does not relieve the collection system owner from complying with G.S. 143- 215.67(a) which prohibits the introduction of any waste in excess of the capacity of the waste disposal system.
