The following applies: MSD's FY22/23 10-vr CIP includes a Droiect to redesign and construct a new Weaverville pumping system. In FY 20/21, the 2011 Weaverville Pumping System study was updated with new flow projections and project recommendations. The plan will include replacing Weaverville #1 with a larger station to accommodate flows through 2070. The existing force main will be enlarged and will convey flow from Weaverville #1 directly to the treatment facility. Weaverville #2 will be converted to a smaller residential pump station. Design is complete on the new system, and construction began Summer 2024. with the new Therefore: to be in service by Summer 2026. Given reasonably expected conditions and planning information, there is sufficient justification to allow this flow to be permitted, without a significant likelihood of over -allocating capacity in the system infrastructure. I understand that this does not relieve the collection system owner from complying with G.S. 143- 215.67(a) which prohibits the introduction of any waste in excess of the capacity of the waste disposal system. The application is for Northridge Farms which is a proposed apartment and single family home complex located in Hendersonville, NC. There are 568 units and an associated club house. The majority of the site is served by public sewer (MSD of Buncombe County), but 100 duplex casitas are served by private gravity sewer as part of this application. The private collection system will connect to a new public system installed by the same developer which ultimately connects to an existing MSD sewer main. The FTSE form filled out by MSD is also enclosed. The enclosed application consists of 1,272LF of 6 inch PVC pipe. The additional required submittal items are enclosed within this application packet.
