I want to be sure you noted this additional information and to be sure we at the Division have not missed or overlooked a submittal of the revised plans, specifications and supporting documents for this permit application package addressing all the items. Please provide an update on the project status, since more than 30 days have expired since this e-mail was sent to you. Once all of this information is received by the Division, I will work to move this project forward. Thank you. Dale. H. Please provide the additional or revised information for the following comments, in order for the office to complete the review: 1. The proposed project is for the addition of 18 residential simplex pump stations and associated pressure sewer laterals to The Preserve at Tidewater LPSS. The additional sewer flowrate requested for the subject permit application modification is for the addition of 5,850 GPD based on the addition of 18 residential units (each 5 bedroom) at a reduced sewer design flowrate of 65 GPD per bedroom or 325 GPD per RDU. The design flow reduction approval letter for use of 65 GPD per bedroom per RDU was issued to Pluris, LLC, January 11, 2023. Please confirm the subject project is located within the service area of the flow reduction letter provided and be aware that the approval letter may need to be re -issued to ONWASA, in order to be eligible for use for this project. 2. The submitted ASEA in line #7 on page 2 of 5 lists 4,680 GPD of wastewater generated by this project, but the table on line #8 lists the 5,860 GPD based on the addition of 18 residential unit connections at 325 GPD per RDU. Please clarify and revise. 3. The submitted ASEA on page 3 of 5, line #7 includes an approximate total length of 1,277 linear feet of 2-inch pressure sewer, but the transmittal letter indicates 1,326 linear feet of 2-inch pressure sewer. Please clarify the length of 2-inch pressure sewer to be added with this project. 4. On the engineering plan sheet 2 of 5, at approximately station 1+15 the proposed 2-inch pressure sewer on Sanderling Court crosses an existing 8-inch water main in Delray Court. It is not clear if the required vertical separation is provided from the water main when the pressure sewer is shown to dip 24 inches under the storm sewers at their crossing at approximately station 1+25. Please clarify. 5. The two (2) review comments in the e-mail sent 8/30/2024 and 9/4/2024 regarding existing tributary connections verses the number of connections eligible for the reduced sewer flowrate of 65 GPD per bedroom and the change of ownership requirement for permits WQ0037781 and WQ0037696 are still pending and response is needed. A response to the above comments is considered required in order to proceed with the review of the application and issuance of the permit. If a complete response is not received within 30 days, the application and supporting documents will be returned to you in accordance with 15A NCAC 02T.0107(e)(2). Please feel free to provide digital copies of these revised documents and supporting information to me via email along with hardcopies via mail. Please let me know if you have any questions. Dale H.
