Dear Mr. Gleason:
Enclosed you will find two copies of a portion of the
"Map of Floodprone Areas" , Mount Pleasant Quadrangle Map, which
I- shows the general location of a proposed wastewater treatment
and disposal facility to serve a proposed two-bedroom residence
and to discharge domestic wastewater into man-made lakes within
Lake Shores Estates sub-division in Cabarrus County. This
'i sub-division is located south of Miami Church Road (S.R. #1132)
and west of Mount Pleasant Road (S.R. #1006) . The man-made lakes
within this sub-division lie within the watershed of an unnamed
tributary to Dutch Buffalo Creek, located approximately 1 ,000 feet I
northeast of its confluence with Rocky River.
1 It is anticipated that the daily waterflow from this proposed
residence should not exceed 300 gallons per day.
Please establish the standards for the quality of the
effluent from this proposed treatment plant at this location.
