Subject: Cane River Monitoring
Andrew,
Per our conversation this morning, to address Condition #6 of the Water Quality Certification for the Cane River Dam
Removal Project (DWR# 16-0022) the applicant would establish one cross section below the existing dam location. This
cross section would be monitored once pre-construction and once post-construction. Post-construction monitoring
would occur during the first visual monitoring event (approximately 3 months after construction is complete). The
collected data (pre- and post-construction) would be submitted to the DWR within 45 days after completion of the
monitoring.
Thank you and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
