Dear Sir:
ei& Regional O:fi: :
Actions have been taken to correct all activities responsible for violations noted on the NOV. Reporting of
Chlorine, Total Residual and pH on the NDMR resumed on January 26, 2024 and continues to be reported on a
weekly basis on all subsequent NDMR's. Please note that a contributory factor in the activities responsible for
the NOV (Monitoring Frequency Violation) was that the lagoon to be sampled had been out of operation for a
period of 6 months, during which time monitoring was not possible. It was after the down time and the lagoon
came back on line that the Monitoring Frequency Violation occurred.
If you have any questions concerning this matter please contact Douglas Goodwin, Permittee, at 919-548-5024
