Land Application of Sludge Facility
Town of Lumberton
Robeson County
On August 9, 1989, an inspection of the Town's land application of sludge
facility was performed by Mr. Grady Dobson, Environmental Engineer
Fayetteville Regional Office. Please find attached a copy of our Compliance
Inspection Report for your information. It is our opinion that this facility
is operating in compliance with permit requirements and that management of
this facility is being satisfactorly performed.

implemented to contend with spills of liquid, dried,
or filter press sludges? X
5. Does the Permittee conduct their own analysis of the
applied sludge? X
6. Has the analysis of the applied sludge been conducted
on a continuous and planned basis? X
7. Does the Permittee or sludge producer have sufficient
sludge holding capacity to contend with a no applica-
tion situation? X
8. Are application sites identified with estimated or
