COMMENT RESPONSE
1. Please address the following comments with regard to the plan set:
a. Previous Comment: Per the USGS topographic map for the area, there is a surface
water located downstream of the large on-site pond(see attached image). Please
ensure that this surface water is included on the plans and that the required vegetated
setback is included on the plans in accordance with 15A NCAC 02H.1042(2)(g)(iii).
Please also ensure that this surface water area is accounted for in Section IV, 6 of the
Application and Sections IV, 7, 8, & 10 of the Application are revised as needed.

NOTE: If you believe that the surface waters shown on the USGS topographic map do not
accurately reflect the extents of the on-site surface waters, you can reach out to the Fayetteville
Regional Office to schedule an on-site determination (per 15A NCAC 02H .1017(10)). The
onsite
determination must be made by qualified Authority staff.
2. Please verify the number of lots within the Walkers Creek drainage area. If there are 43
lots, please revise the package accordingly. THERE IS A LOT (LOT#51) BETWEEN (36) &
(37) —SEE BELOW IN RED CIRCLE—TOTAL OF 44 LOTS

a. Section IV, 6-8 —See earlier comment with regard to the surface water area, please
revise as needed. INCLUDED IN ORIGINAL APPLICATION
4. Please correct the following issues with the Supplement-EZ Form:
a. Low-Density Page:
i. Line 5 —This item should correspond to the maximum velocity listed in the swale
table below. 5.0 MAX VELOCITY SHOWN PER SWALE TABLE (SWALE #33 &#35)
ii. Line 15 —Please clarify which, if any, of the swales are designed as curb outlet
swales. Currently, the note appears to indicate that swales 1-54 are curb outlet
swales (which does not appear to be correct since these swales do not meet the
design requirements outlined in 15A NCAC 02H .1003(2)(d).
5. Please revise the O&M Agreement if needed if curb outlet swales are not being used for
this project. REVISED
6. Please provide a Response to Comments letter indicating, in a point-by-point manner,
how each of the above comments has been addressed. This item is required per 15A
NCAC 02H .1042(3)(b). PROVIDED
