Land Application of 4th Qtr Residuals
Joel,
Per our phone conversation of 6-16-09 please note the following for your record: The City of Lumberton has fallen a bit
short in terms of funds for the land application of residuals. The land application scheduled for the 4th quarter of this fiscal
year has been postponed. We have rescheduled this event for early July 2009, which will then be the first quarter of the
new year. Sampling of this material was done during April in anticipation of a haul during May.
As we understand the permit, sampling need not necessarily be done during the same quarter that the materials are j
actually applied. In this particular case the sample was collected during the 4th quarter and the actual application will take
place during the following 1st quarter. No modifications were made to the material during the period of holding while
awaiting the new budget.
The original sample will still be used in calculating the loading applied to the field.
