(Duke) respectfully submits this letter to amend our existing NPDES application under which the plant currently operates. The amendment is to disclose the use of Hydrex Ultimer 7752, see attached SDS. This product is a flocculant used in the ash basin to remove sediment prior to the water treatment system. Please include this with the relevant application file. Based upon discussion,it is our understanding that with this modification to the existing permit application file,no permit modification would be required,and Duke is authorized to utilize this additive.
